BASIC Bank Ltd. has declared 38.35 percent dividend for the year 2006 of which 32.00 percent is stock and 6.35 percent is cash dividend. The dividend was approved at the 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
30th Branch
BASIC Bank Limited opened its 30th branch in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka on 25.04.2007. Mr. Md. Nurul Amin, Chairman of the Bank and Secretary, Ministry of Industries, Govt. of the People's Republic of Bangladesh inaugurated the new Branch.
Inauguration of Centralized Online Banking
The implementation of the Centralized Online Banking System was inaugurated on March 22, 2007 by the Honorable Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed. The ceremony was also graced by the Chairman of the Bank and Secretary, Ministry of Industries, Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh, Dr. Md. Nurul Amin, the Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. A. H. Ekbal Hossain, and other high officials.
