BASIC Bank PLC., 100% State-owned commercial bank, held an orientation program for the newly recruited Senior Officers at the bank’s Training Institute in the Capital. And Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Chairman of the bank's Board of Directors, exchanged views and conveyed his greetings with the participants at the closing ceremony on June 18, 2026.
A total of 17 officers recently joined BASIC Bank PLC. as Senior Officers after qualifying in the competitive examination conducted by the Bankers’ Selection Committee under the supervision of Bangladesh Bank.
Among others, Abu Md. Mofazzal and Subhash Chandra Das, FCA, FCMA, Deputy Managing Directors, along with Md. Ismail, Md. Momenul Hoque, Md. Nashir Uddin, Sumit Ranjan Nath, Md. Hasan Imam, Md. Ghulam Sayeed Khan, and Saidur Rahman Sohel, General Managers, Mohammad Mahmudul Hasan, Principal of the Training Institute, and Md. Mamunur Rahman, Head of Human Resources Division were present at the program, alongside senior executives and officials of head office.
The orientation program provided the participating Senior Officers with an overview of the bank’s culture, organizational structure, compliance framework, customer service standards and contemporary banking practices. The program also emphasized the importance of integrity, professionalism and continuous learning in building a successful career in the banking sector.
